LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Supporters of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights had an opportunity to take part in a unique photo and video shoot.
The shoot, conducted by the Fairness Campaign and C. Caswell Style Crew, had those participating bring a white t-shirt to have it style and altered to feature a word or phrase symbolizing what fairness meant to them.
“We advocate for LGBT civil rights here in Kentucky and Louisville in this whole region, trying to pass a statewide anti-discrimination law,” Fairness Campaign Director Chris Hartman said. “It will finally prohibit firing someone from their job, denying them a place to live or kicking them out of a restaurant because of who they are or who they love.”
The video and images taken at Sunday’s shoot will be unveiled at the Fairness Campaign’s annual Fairness over Louisville cocktail party September 13.
