(WHAS11)—David Camm is busy with the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the parents of his wife.

The Renn’s have a lawsuit pending against Camm trying to prevent him from getting more than $600,000 in insurance money on his wife and two children.

Camm was twice convicted of murdering his family, but both those verdicts were overturned. Camm was acquitted of the murders in October 2013, having been in jail since the 2000 murders.

Camm’s uncle, Sam Lockhart posted an update message on Camm to his Facebook page.

“At this time Dave is working part time for me and is still pursuing an opportunity with Bill Clutter and Investigating Innocence at Indiana University. We are also trying to settle the wrongful death suit filed against David by Nick Stein who represents Kim's Mom and Dad, Frank and Janice Renn."
