LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Arson is looking into a Monday evening fire at a Shively business.

Lake Dreamland and Pleasure Ridge Park Firefighters were called American Paving Company on Cane Run Road around 8:45 p.m.

Firefighters found heavy fire and smoke inside when they arrived. The fire was under control in less than 10 minutes.

They say there’s nothing suspicious but arson investigators are trying to figure out how it started.

Nearby business owners were thankful that the fire was under control quickly.

“Your livelihood is on the line. That's what takes place. To see these guys do an outstanding job, contacting us to let us know what's going on, hey man, it's a godsend. It's a blessing. Thank you, thank you, thank you," Larry Butler of Butler Automotive Group said,

There were no injuries.
