LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Construction workers injured at the site for the new Ohio River Bridges Project after midnight Saturday morning have been released from the hospital.

Three Walsh Construction crew members were aboard a boat trying to capture a safety boat that had broken loose.

Their boat capsized near the floodgates at the Falls of the Ohio and everyone was thrown overboard.

The men were pulled from the river and transported to University Hospital.

One worker was admitted but was released on Sunday.

Walsh Construction is investigating the incident and it’s unclear if a state or federal investigation will follow.
