LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Brides-to-be had a golden opportunity Sunday with a chance to buy their dream wedding gowns for a dream price.

Hundreds of designer dresses went up for sale at the Henry Clay as part of the “Brides Against Breast Cancer” nationwide tour.

The gowns are sold for steep discounts with some up to 85 percent off with all of the money going toward programs supporting cancer patients and their families.

“I am such a big fan of being able to celebrate that next step forward. I have family members who’ve beaten cancer so being able to celebrate with the brides is a great experience. It’s very emotional and we make it as special as possible,” Kelsey Anderson of Brides Against Breast Cancer said.

Last year’s sale raised $2 million for breast cancer services.
