PALMYRA, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for all customers of the Palmyra Water Works in Southern Indiana.

According to a news release, a main water line is leaking and crews are working to repair the line.

Some customers will not have water service while the leak is being repaired. Other customers may experience low water pressure.

The water company is advising ll customers to boil water
used for consumption to a full rolling boil for at least 1 minute.
It is also asking for customers to avoid doing laundry for the next 24 hours.

Customers that have ice makers should avoid using ice for the next 24 hours and discard the first batch of ice after the ban is lifted.
