LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – College students on the University of Louisville’s Belknap Campus held a blood drive in honor of a little girl.

The Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity sponsored the drive in memory of 4-month-old Addison Miles.

Miles was diagnosed with leukemia and received multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation therapy and blood transfusions.

Two people donated their bone marrow for little Addison whom were found through the “Be the Match” registry.

Miles passed away last year and her family participates in multiple donor and fundraising events for pediatric cancer research and the “Be the Match” foundation.
