Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The work to add new bike lanes on Hill Street in Louisville is being pushed back.

Crews aren't sure when they'll begin the striping work.

Mayor Greg Fischer budgeted $300,000 for bike lanes on Hill Street between 6th and 7th Streets and on and Grinstead Drive between Stilz Avenue and Lexington Road.

The new lanes are part of the mayor's effort to double the city's bike network from 40 miles to 80 miles in a year.
