(WHAS11)—Former UofL men’s basketball player Chane Behanan is heading to the NBA draft, but still has some legal issues to clear up.

He was scheduled to be in court today after being cited earlier in April on marijuana possession.

Police said Behanan was the passenger in the car that was pulled over and he admitted to police he had smoked marijuana.

The case was scheduled to be heard Tuesday morning, but was continued until June.

Behanan was kicked off the Cards roster in December, later he said it was because of drug use.
