LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- According to an @KentuckyDerby tweet, Hoppertunity, the second favorite for 140th Kentucky Derby, has been scratched.
Trainer Bob Baffert pulled the horse due to an issue with the colt's left front hoof.
The scratch opens the door for Pablo Del Monte to enter the Saturday's race. Howver, assistant trainer Blake Heap said it is up to the owners if they want the horse to run.
