LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Camp Hi-Ho and Kosair Children’s Hospital offered children with autism a chance to make friends at “Thunder Day.”

Studies show children on the autism spectrum have fewer friends and are more likely to be bullied.

Camp Hi-Ho hosted where kids could make friends in a comfortable environment.

The day included fishing, boating, zip lining, rope and tire swings, a petting zoo and a radio airplane show.
