AURORA, Ind. (WHAS11) – An Aurora, Indiana police chief is in jail after authorities respond to a domestic dispute.
42-year-old Aurora Police chief Bryan Fields was arrested when authorities say he and his wife 42-year-old Holly Fields had a physical confrontation around 4 a.m. Sunday.
Police say Holly was transported to Dearborn County Hospital but didn’t disclose her injuries.
Chief Fields was arrested on a preliminary misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
Police say the investigation is continuing and charges could be expected against Holly.
