CRESTWOOD, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police have released the identity of the man killed in a Wednesday morning car accident in Oldham County.
The accident happened on Highway 393 in Crestwood, about a mile north of Centerfield Drive.
Police say John Gebhart, 22, of Crestwood, Kentucky died in the accident. They said he lost control of his car while traveling southbound in Highway 393 and struck a guardrail.
Hwy. 393 was shut down in both directions between Centerfield Drive and Echo Valley Circle while emergency crews clear the accident, but all lanes have since reopened.
