LOUISVILLE, Ky -- An assistant principal at Kammerer Middle School kept his promise Friday and shaved his head.
Steven Serotte promised his students he would shave his head if the school raised $2000 to go to help cancer awareness.
Students had the chance to purchase colored rings for $.50 and then they wrote the name of the person they wanted to dedicate it to; all to fill the school with rings.
They decided to raise money for cancer awareness after one of their teachers recently learned they had leukemia. Several staff members have been treated for cancer.
