LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man they said is responsible for setting three fires early Tuesday morning.

Fifty-year-old Lavance S. Wilson is suspected of intentionally setting fire to trash and recycling bins, one of which cause severe damage to The Tavern on S. 4th Street. Two other fires were set in alleys at 3rd and Magnolia, and 1st and Ormsby.

Wilson is facing two counts of arson, one count of attempted arson and a wanton endangerment charge.

The wanton endangerment charge comes into play because a firefighter was injured while working the blaze at The Tavern. The firefighter is expected to be OK.

Officials said they believe Wilson may be responsible for a fourth fire as well, but he has not been charged with a fourth count of arson.
