LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville woman is facing murder charges after police said she shot and killed another woman Saturday.
According to police, Rickita Glass, 18, shot 32-year-old Antoinette Finch one time in the chest, causing her death. The arrest comes on the same day as Finch's funeral.
Finch was shot dead in front of her 16-year-old son after police say a fight broke out between Finch and people inside a vehicle just before 10 p.m in the parking lot of where Finch lived.
Finch's husband also witnessed the shooting and tried to resuscitate her after she was shot, but Finch was pronounced dead on the scene.
On Sunday dozens of Finch's family and friends held a candlelight vigil in her honor. Family members describe Finch as a loving mother who was always the life of the party.
Finch's family says during the course of the last few weeks, she received threatening messages.
A memorial fund has been set up for Finch's children, donations can be made to any PNC Bank in Antinette's name.
Rickita Glass is being held on $50,000 full cash bond and is facing on murder charge.
