LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) - Officials with the KFC Yum! Center say they've worked out a plan to get fans to-and-from events at the facility.

There are five TARC bus stops within five blocks of the arena and TARC staff will be stationed in the arena lobby to help.

Additionally, there are 219 bike-parking spaces within a 10-minute walk of the arena, and they want to build another 200.

The Arena Authority also announced an additional $4.6 million in sponsorships.

The Chairman of the Arena Authority, Jim Host, says the Arena Authority isn’t done yet, so fans should expect more announcements to come.

"We still have a lot to sell,” Host told WHAS11 News. “There are still a number of signs to sell, a number of naming opportunities inside to sell, but we are much further along than I ever thought we would be at this point."

The KFC Yum! Center is on-time and on-budget, and is expected open in November 2010.
