LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The viral cold water challenges are being made for the WHAS Crusade for Children.

Those being challenged are getting pretty creative with how they’re living up to it.

Jason Harp of the Shively Fire Department put on his fireman’s helmet and rode in the back of a pickup truck through Jerry’s Car Wash on Dixie Highway.

Andrew Stark with Milton Fire and Rescue used a front loader filled with cold water to live up to his challenge.

Stark challenged a fellow firefighter and Governor Steve Beshear.

If both accept his challenge, Stark will pay $10 for each of them to the Crusade.

The 61st WHAS Crusade for Children is June 7 and 8.
