Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- Amazon is giving its warehouse employees a chance to boost their careers, by offering a tuition break.

The company is offering some employees up to $2,000 in annual tuition costs for training in well-paying, high-demand careers.

Some of the jobs that qualify include aircraft mechanics, computer-aided design, medical lab technologies and nursing.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos describes the "Career Choice Program" as an "experiment."
