LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The suspected shoplifter who was shot by a Jefferson County constable has been arrested again. This time it was for allegedly selling drugs.
Police say they arrested Tammy Ortiz Tuesday night on Terry Road in PRP. They say they found crack cocaine, a crack pipe, Hydrocodone and other paraphernalia.
Ortiz faces several charges including drug trafficking.
Ortiz is planning to file a civil lawsuit against Constable David Whitlock. She was shot in the parking lot of the Wal-mart off the Greenbelt Highway in November.
