(WHAS11) -- If you are tired of crying kids and wound up toddlers disrupting your flights, this airline is for you.
Children under 12 are not allowed in the first seven rows on certain Air-Asia X flights. The airline primarily serves China, Taiwan and Australia.
Airline executives say the "quiet zones" have softer lighting, divider curtains and separate restrooms. It costs about $11 extra for the privilege.
Competing carrier Malaysia Airlines also offers a similar child-free zones.
