LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A woman involved in an accident Sunday night that closed nearly all lanes of Interstate 65 northbound on the Kennedy Bridge has died.
The woman has been identified as Jacqueline Wright, age 52. On Thursday the coroner said Wright died from multiple injuries sustained in the accident.
Trimarc reported the accident in the northbound lanes of the Kennedy Bridge around 11:00 Sunday night. Police say Wright was sitting inside a car on the side of the roadway and was injured when another car struck it from behind.
Wright died Wednesday and an autopsy was conducted Thursday.
