Police say an 80-year-old veteran was left with a broken nose and ribs after a man robbed and beat him in broad daylight.

Police say it happened on June 27 in the early evening behind the post office on Baxter Avenue.

Police say the 80-year-old victim was approached by a man who demanded money, took $800 from him and then allegedly beat him up.

Police are now looking for the man and another man believed to be driving the vehicle they were in.

Police are looking for the two men who were seen in a 2000 silver or gray Dodge Intrepid.
