BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WHAS11) – It was a scary moment for parents and riders at a southern Kentucky amusement park Saturday afternoon.
Beech Bend park officials say a children's swing ride tipped over, leaving 8 people with non-life threatening injuries.
Eye witnesses say small children came crashing to the ground while others were suspended in mid-air.
While state investigators will determine the exact cause of the accident, WHAS-TV's affiliate WBKO reports uneven weight distribution may have played a factor.
