LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)--The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health addressed the public after a man died from the West Nile virus.
The 73-year-old's death is the first confirmed related to the virus this year.
There has also been one case where the victim recovered.
The agency says there are infected mosquitoes throughout the Louisville area; specifically 8 areas.
