LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- In Lexington, a chase involving a stolen Lexington police car made its way through Louisville early Friday morning, May 9.
The car was stolen from outside the officer's home in Lexington. It was spotted on I-64 eastbound around 6 a.m. Friday.
Metro Police officers tried to pull it over but the driver refused to stop.
Kentucky State Police caught up with the cruiser in Shelby County. The driver led police on a high speed chase that lasted 20 miles.
Officers finally stopped the car in Franklin County.
Three juveniles inside were taken into custody.
