COLUMBUS, Ind. (WHAS11) – Three men are facing drug charges after a citizen’s tip led to drug activity.

Police say they were given information on possible drug activity at a home in the 4100 block of West County Road 500 North.

According to a report, they say 53-year-old Thomas Burton who lived at the home was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant for criminal mischief.

While serving the warrant, police say they discovered materials leading them to determine drug activity. Officers obtained a search warrant Thursday afternoon and found 20 pounds of packaged marijuana, one fourth pound of cocaine, meth, more than $20,000 and 30 firearms.

Burton faces possessions of marijuana, meth, cocaine and criminal mischief.

52-year-old Tony Burton and 77-year-old Osbert Ovie are also facing charges including possession of meth and visiting a common nuisance.

Police say additional charges could be filed and other arrests could come as a result of an ongoing investigation.
