HOUSTON -- Investigators with the Houston Police Department are trying to track down the person who led officers to a woman’s body at an abandoned warehouse.
The discovery was made around 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 5900 block of Wayland Street.
Houston police said a 911 caller reported that a woman’s body would be found outside a building at the location. Officers responded and found the dead woman, who police believe was in her mid-30s.
Detectives believe the body may be that of a woman who was reported missing on Tuesday, but it was unclear how she died.
The medical examiner will perform an autopsy.
