Man busted for series of downtown Louisville car break-ins

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man for theft after breaking into dozens of cars.

Police say 39-year-old James Strothhoff was in possession of several credit cards, social security cards, and identification cards that he admitted to stealing from vehicles.

Those break-ins happened between April 15 and May 20 around downtown Louisville.

He’s charged with theft and fraud.
