ASTORIA, Ore. -- An Astoria, Ore. woman who accidentally called 911 was taken into custody after dispatchers discovered she had a warrant out for her arrest.
Heather Shannon Walker, 46, called 911 Sunday afternoon near the Pig ‘N Pancake restaurant in Astoria. When a dispatcher called back, Walker said she had accidentally called the number and didn’t have an emergency.
But the dispatcher discovered Walker had a warrant out for her arrest from the state parole board.
Walker was arrested Sunday night and taken to the Clatsop County Jail, where officials discovered she had two bags of methamphetamine hidden in her bra.
Walker was arrested on the warrant and possession of a controlled substance.
