A Texas mother is thankful she's alive to see her new baby girl.
High school teacher Erica Nigrelli technically died, then gave birth, and was brought back to life. She was 36 weeks pregnant when she collapsed in a co-worker's classroom.
"Apparently I told her I feel very faint and I put my head down and I essentially just passed out," Nigrelli said.
Turns out, Nigrelli had an undetected heart defect. Co-workers started CPR and used a defibrillator, then paramedics rushed her to the hospital.
Doctors delivered the baby by emergency C-section and then were able to revive Nigrelli.
She and the baby are doing OK.
