LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame announced the names of the class of 2014 Monday.
This year's inductees are WHAS radio's "The Voice of the Cards" Paul Rogers, Pleasure Ridge Park baseball coach Bill Miller, University of Kentucky cheerleading coach Susan Bradley-Cox, high school basketball coach Stan Hardin, welterweight boxing champ Rudell Stitch, saddlebred trainer Redd Crabtree and the Valhalla Golf Club.
Each inductee will get a bronze plaque that will hang inside Freedom Hall.
"For me, this is pretty unexpected and humbling. When I found out, I asked them if they were constructing a wing for the non-athletic Hall of Fame. It's a thrill to be going in with these guys, some of who I know, some who I'm meeting for the first time today. To be included in a group of people I grew up idolizing is really something special, so thanks to the committee and I'm looking forward to the induction this summer," Roger said.
The ceremony will be at the Crown Plaza Hotel June 18. Proceeds will benefit Kosair Charities.
