SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police say two men being sought on charges that they conspired to kill a southern Kentucky woman have been arrested.
According to a statement, officers arrested 21-year-old Antonio A. Turner and 19-year-old Joseph Denning on Tuesday on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, complicity to commit robbery and unlawful imprisonment. Another suspect, Timothy Prater, was arrested last week.
Police have said that neighbors likely saved the life of the McCreary County woman, who was attacked outside her home as she tried to get into her vehicle by three men wearing military-style fatigues. When the neighbors refused to leave, the men drove off.
Police have said the woman who they think hired the men was found dead last week from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
