2 charged after police find pot, synthetic narcotics at LaGrange home

Kathryn Bent and William Grice are charged with manufacturing simulated controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substance endangerment to a child.

LAGRANGE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man and a woman are facing some serious charges after LaGrange Police served a search warrant at a home on the 2000 block of Cherry Ridge Court.

According to a press release, police served the warrant Monday and upon searching the home officers said the found several ounces of marijuana and several ounces of synthetic controlled narcotics, as well as cash.

Police said they also found ingredients and equipment used to produce synthetic narcotics.

Twenty-eight-year-old Kathryn J. Bent and 28-year-old William S. Grice were arrested.

Both are charged with manufacturing simulated controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substance endangerment to a child.

No children were at the home when the arrests were made, police said.
