LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two Kentuckiana teachers are among the best of the best teachers in Kentucky.
The two have been named semi-finalists for 2014 Kentucky Teacher of the Year.
Angela Pleasant from Farmer Elementary School in Louisville and Craig Grimm from North Oldham County High School are among ten semi-finalists from across the state.
The winner will be named in a ceremony next week in Frankfort.
The Kentucky Department of Education says the semi-finalists were selected after submitting information on their teaching philosophies, teaching experiences, community involvement and letters of recommendation.
The winners will be selected after classroom visits and personal interviews.
