2 Kentuckians awarded medals at Special Olympics in New Jersey

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two Kentucky natives brought home medals after competing in the Special Olympics USA Games in New Jersey.

Amanda Browning for Taylorsville brought home two medals because of her bowling skills. Browning was awarded a gold in singles and a silver in the team competition.

The basketball manager at North Oldham High School also has a medal to show off.

Tee Salinas and his father won the silver medal in unified golf.
