HOUSTON - Several mothers gathered at the Galleria Saturday in protest of the Hollister store that asked a nursing mother to leave the premises last month.
The protestors said that there have been similar incidents at other Hollister stores in the past. They added that they do not want anyone fired, but they want employees to be better educated about the law.
It all started in December when a mother said she was yelled at by a manager at a Hollister store and told to leave the property, because she was nursing on a bench outside the business.
Similar protests were held Saturday at Hollister locations across the U.S. and in parts of Canada.
