LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Lexington police say a home-invasion victim is dead and two of four intruders were injured by gunshots.
Police Lt. Mark Brand told the Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/TRODpP) that one of the suspects who entered the apartment, 20-year-old Rodneisha L. Murphy, has been charged with first-degree robbery. He declined to name the other suspects or the victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds on Monday night and died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
Brand said one of the injured suspects remained in the hospital Tuesday morning. He said all of the suspects were "detained."
The newspaper cited court records in reporting that Murphy lived in a nearby apartment and was a stranger to the victim.
It was unclear whether Murphy has an attorney.
