{How to Make Your Own Mesh Ribbon Wreath}

I saw a Mesh Ribbon Wreath at a craft show for $70. I absolutely loved it and had to have it for Christmas, but I couldn't take the price tag. So I thought I could make it and it would be oh so fabulous! How did I do it? Well, I am SO glad you asked!

Trusty ol' Hobby Lobby had pine wreaths for half off so I got one for only $5.00. You can pick up the mesh ribbon at your local craft store. If you use the 40% off Hobby Lobby coupon you'll get  it for $11, all 10 yards of it. Also, look out for a half off sale at Hobby Lobby.  You only need one roll for a wreath but I had some left over that will be use later for more fab decor. I bought my ribbon at a local craft fair just because I loved the print.

You will need:

One pine wreath
Two green pipe cleaners
10 yard roll of Mesh Ribbon of your choice

Step 1: Gather the end and tie it with a pipe cleaner. Tuck it into the pine and fasten it with a stem.

Step 2: Gather about 6 inches and be sure it's not twisted.

Step 3: Once you gather it, push it up and fasten it with a pine stem. The pine is wired so it makes it easy to keep it in place. Keep working throughout the entire wreath.

That's it! You're done! Isn't that so easy? You could also add some ribbon in a contrasting color and bulbs to match. That's the crafts I like...easy with a fabulous look. The wreath now happily hangs on my door and every time I come home it makes me smile. Go craft it!
