School is in session...at least for my boys whicih means tutoring is also in session. If you're thinking a little tutoring is something your child needs this year, be sure to check out the options below for free tutoring for kids.

{Free Tutoring Options}

KhanAcademy.org: This site offer 32-hundred free videos on subjects ranging from physics to finance. You can learn at your own pace and to date, more than 1-hundred 78 million lessons have been taught.

Tutor.com: The Department of Defense as well as other organizations fund this program and have made it free for all children in military families. That is AMAZING. Civilians can also use this website (which is available 24/7) however, if you are not in the military, it will cost money.

No Child Left Behind Act: The No Child Left Behind Act requires that low-performing, low-income schools provide free tutoring services to children who qualify. I checked with the U-S Department of Education and found out of the hundreds of thousands of students eligible for free tutoring... less than 15% are getting it. If you want to know if your school qualifies simply visit this link for the US Department of Education.

I had a tutor for three years when I was in school. Why? Math. And here's what I learned:

LOL. Amen.
