Surgery Center

To better serve the needs of our patients Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has an outpatient surgery center specializing in orthopaedic procedures. Amenities include:

• Our surgeons perform the most current procedures utilizing the latest technology.
• The anesthesiologists safely and effectively administer anesthetic agents and provide the patient with continuous monitoring throughout the surgical procedure.
• With three preop rooms and six recovery rooms, the surgery experience is streamlined just for you, the patient.
• Awarded accreditation from AAAHC for achieving high standards in ambulatory surgical care.

Physical Therapy:

Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is dedicated to patient convenience by offering onsite physical therapy. The staff prides themselves in not just treating our patient's current condition, but also in working to educate our patient's on their diagnosis, as well as life-style changes they can make to prevent recurrent injuries. Our therapists work closely with our physicians and have an understanding of their surgical techniques. This close work relationship and knowledge of surgical procedures prevents delays in our patient's care and allows our physician to better care for our patients as they are kept informed of their progress.

MRI:

Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic was the first in the United States to install the Neusoft Superopen 0.35T MRI System! This ensures high quality images. The Neusoft Superopen has the ability to perform all anatomical regions; however our facility specializes in Orthopaedic studies of the spine and extremities. We are proud to announce that our office has been awarded accreditation in magnetic resonance imaging as the result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology (ACR). We schedule appointments for MRI Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Results are usually available within 24 hours of imaging. 

X-Ray:

The Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has installed a Fuji's advanced digital X-ray imaging system. It produces finely detailed images that can be selectively enhanced to meet various needs. These images are stored on site, as well as a copy stored off site for disaster recovery. Patients are entitled to one complimentary CD of their images, but there is a fee for an additional CD or filmed images.       

Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has created an orthopaedic environment, which enables us to treat all types of orthopaedic problems and musculoskeletal diseases. We strive to offer the latest technological advances in orthopaedic care including onsite extremity MRI and custom orthotic services. All of our surgeons are board certified in orthopaedic surgery and have completed specialized training. This specialized training includes custom total joint replacement; arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder and ankle; surgery of the spine; foot and ankle disorders and sports medicine.
