Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A 17-year-old is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with evidence in a deadly hit and run accident.

51 year-old Robert Lanham died in the accident Wednesday night at the scene on Bardstown Road near the Gene Snyder.

Police say that tips from witnesses led to the teen's arrest at about 10:00 p.m. Thursday night.
