News of a possible rate increase at Louisville Gas and Electric

11:42 AM EDT on Friday, July 4, 2008

WHAS11 has learned that L.G.& E. plans to file for a rate application from the Kentucky Public Service Commission on or after July 29.

This means that they will be applying for a general adjustment in your electric and gas rates.

We don’t know how much the rate would increase, or when it would take effect; if it is approved at all by the Kentucky Public Service Commission.
