Local organization helps with a Relief Fund for the victims of China's devastating earthquake

In the wake of the China earthquake disaster, people half-a-world away are stepping up to help.

Here in Louisville, some local groups have come together to help the earthquake victims. They are raising money to help, particularly the children who survived the school building collapses. And although many people in Louisville may not know anyone in china, organizers of this fund say we have an obligation to help.

Louisville’s sister city in France is actually the sister city of Chengdu, one of the city’s devastated by the earthquake. They say in a way, that makes us family.      

100% of the donations will be delivered directly to Chinese children. All donations are tax deductible. The coordinating organizations are committed that 100% of the donations will be delivered to the relief effort.
