Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - On Tuesday, WHAS11 held the Annual Republic Bank Athlete of the Year luncheon honoring successful students on and off the playing field.
For the girls, Assumption cross country star Ashley El Rady took home the $1,000 scholarship.
For the boys, three sport athlete Max Burge from Collegiate won the award.
As both prepare for college, they say Tuesday's honor by Vype Magazine, Republic Bank and WHAS11 News is the perfect way to wrap up their high school careers.
