Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A Trinity High School grad is getting a top honor from Louisville Slugger.
Corey Littrell was voted Louisville Slugger's Kentucky High School Player of the Year.
He was picked for the honor by members of the National High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Corey is one of 48 across the country to win this award.
"I didn't get the chance to win Mr. Baseball, but this was Louisville Slugger and I'm from Louisville, it kind of means a little more than winning Mr. Baseball...it was an honor and glad the coaches voted me for it," said Littrell.
Corey has signed to play baseball at the University of Kentucky.
