(WHAS11) - Twenty-four teams played in the Louisville Invitational Volleyball Tournament at Ohio Valley Volleyball Center, many from across Kentucky and out of state.

Friday was pool play, followed by tournament bracket playoffs on Saturday.

Assumption defeated Manual in Gold Division play, falling to Chattahoochee of Alpharetta, Georgia in the championship game.

Holy Cross fell to Sacred Heart and Mercy fell to tournament winner Chattahoochee.

In the Silver Division, Butler fell to Ohio Notre Dame.

And in Bronze, Male defeated Eastern and Presentation to win that division title.

Last night in the NFL, two long-time records were tied.

In the late game last night, Sebastian Janikowski boomed a 63-yard field goal that tied the all-time record distance for a field goal kick.

And to the delight and dismay of fantasy football players everywhere, Tom Brady connected with Wes Welker for a 99-yard touchdown play.
