(WHAS11) - A judge in Lexington has ordered the former bluegrass Big Brothers Big Sisters bookkeeper to repay nearly a half a million dollars.
Bendrea Wilson is also required to pay 12% interest on money that investigators say she embezzled from the Lexington organization.
Authorities say Wilson forged signatures of the group's officials to checks.
These allegations are all spelled out in a lawsuit and a criminal investigation is underway.
Wilson has reportedly signed over the deed to her home to the organization.
