(WHAS11) - To say it was an emotional day in court would be a grave understatement.
Three families made a final plea to a judge at the sentencing of Sheila Granger.
She is the woman convicted of having sex with two boys while they were just 11 and 12-years-old.
Tearful letters were read in Clark County Superior Court Thursday by the victim's mothers and Granger's husband.
Sheila Granger walked out of court with tears in her eyes, which is the same way she sat in court.
After an extensive trial and conviction of child molestation, she learned her fate Thursday afternoon.
She was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
Kimberly Mattice and Crystal Maddox are two mothers still heartbroken by what happened.
Sheila Granger was convicted of having sex with their sons when they were 11 and 12-years-old.
They say Granger even told the boys at separate times she was pregnant but had taken care of things.
Kimberly Mattice and Granger were great friends. She says at one point they were close as sisters.
These mothers say it was time for them to speak publically about what happened.
Sheila Granger's family declined to comment after the sentencing.
But during court her husband asked for leniency, reading a tearful statement about how his daughters needed their mother and how hard this has been for them.
