Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - You've seen the headlines involving John Edwards, the governor of South Carolina, David Letterman and most notably Tiger Woods, all public cases involving spouses who cheated.

Monday night at 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. WHAS11’s Rachel Platt takes a closer look at infidelity.

“Our marriage today is unbelievable,” said George Soete.  He and his wife Cassie are ready to celebrate 46 years together, their pillow says “happiness is being married to your best friend.”

Best friends now but there was a time their marriage was in ruins after George had an affair.

“I made an extremely bad decision,” said Soete.

So how did they get through it and manage to love and trust today?  Find out Monday night.

We also have Tina’s story, still recovering after her husband left for another woman last May.

So who's more likely to cheat, men or women?

And what you may not know, there's now a place for victims of infidelity to turn for support in Kentuckiana.

You can see more of “Tempted to Cheat” Monday night on WHAS11 News.
